GODBOLD, Circuit Judge:

Knight sued Wirotzious claiming contribution for having paid their joint and several obligation owed to the National Bank of Commerce. Wirotzious filed a counterclaim seeking contribution from Knight for discharge by Wirotzious of a debt of Saltzman Machine & Fabricating Company that had been guaranteed by the two of them. After a non jury trial the District Court found in favor of Knight on both his claim and the counterclaim.
