Blood is often thicker than water. Brothers Angel Ayala-Vazquez (“Ayala”) and Luis Xadiel Cruz-Vazquez (“Cruz”) (collectively, “appellants”) appeal their convictions on multiple criminal charges related to their involvement in a wide-ranging drug trafficking organization based out of the Jose Celso Barbosa Public Housing Project (“Barbosa”) and the Sierra Linda Public Housing Project (“Sierra Linda”) in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
