Henry Lee Williams-Bey (“appellant”) appeals from a final order entered in the District Court 1 for the Eastern District of Missouri denying his petition for writ of habeas corpus filed pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254 (1982). For reversal, appellant argues that the district court erred in denying his petition because (1) he was denied effective assistance of counsel at trial, and (2) a Missouri court denied his request for post-conviction relief without making findings of fact and conclusions of law concerning his allegation that the prosecution withheld discovery.
