William Sager owned a tract of land in Arkansas County, upon the security of which he desired to obtain a loan of $5,500, and he employed the American Investment Company to negotiate the loan. The loan was obtained, and Sager executed a note for $5,500, due ten years after date, with interest at six per cent, per annum from date until paid, and, as security therefor, a mortgage was executed and recorded from Sager on the land.
