This is an action by David M. Friedman against Alliance Insurance Company, Inc., seeking payment for a theft loss under his parents’ homeowners policy. The trial court, at the close of a bench trial, determined that Friedman was covered under the policy and awarded plaintiff judgment for the total amount of his claim, $9,143.30, plus attorney fees and certain prejudgment interest.
