A Ramsey County jury found appellant Joseph Haywood Campbell guilty of: (1) first-degree premeditated murder for the *98benefit of a gang, in violation of Minn.Stat. §§ 609.185(a)(1) and 609.229, subd. 2 (2014); (2) first-degree premeditated murder, in violation of Minn.Stat. § 609.185(a)(1); and (3) second-degree intentional murder, in violation of Minn.Stat. § 609.19, subd. 1(1) (2014), for the October 14, 2012, death of Naressa Turner.
