Michael Justin Drake appeals the Drew County Circuit Court’s denial of his motion to withdraw his plea of guilty to three felonies. He contends that the circuit court erred as a matter of law and abused its discretion by refusing to allow him to withdraw the guilty plea. Drake argues that he had an absolute right to withdraw the plea because it had not been accepted by the trial court. He claims alternatively that, even if the court did accept the plea, he was entitled to withdraw it to prevent a manifest injustice. We disagree with both arguments, and we affirm the order of…
