Peter Paul ApMns was indicted by tbe grand jury of Jessamine County for tbe wilful murder of Lizzie Young Apkins, by administering poison to ber and also by striMng ber. While tbe indictment charged that tbe ofíense was committed in Jessamine County, it was conceded by tbe Commonwealth that tbe evidence would show that tbe blows were struck and tbe poison administered in Cincinnati, Ohio; and, therefore, tbe case was submitted on an agreed state of facts to tbe court, with a view of determining whether or not tbe Jessamine Circuit Court bad…
