OPINION

JOHNSON, Chief Judge.

Harlan Poppler, Jennifer Poppler, and Roy Marschall (hereinafter the Popplers) operate a dairy farm. The Wright Henne-pin Cooperative Electric Association provides electricity to the dairy farm. The Popplers sued Wright Hennepin, alleging that stray electrical voltage injured their herd of dairy cows, thereby causing a decrease in the cows’ production of milk. A Wright County jury found Wright Henne-pin liable and awarded the Popplers $753,200 in damages.
