In 1902 Homer Hudson entered into a contract for the sale to Charles Anthony of two. tracts of land, estimated to contain in the aggregate 560 acres, situated in Illinois, for the sum of $58,800. Afterwards he executed a deed for the land, and the deed was placed in escrow until the purchase money should be paid'.
