This matter came regularly on for hearing by the court on the 15th day of June, 2006, on the appeal of a Memorandum Opinion of the Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Washington granting summary judgment to the Committee of Tort Litigants and claimant Michael Shea, finding that the Parish properties in the Diocese of Spokane are owned outright by the Diocese or Bishop of Spokane and that the Parishes have no legal, beneficial or equitable interest in their individual churches and schools.
