Defendant was found guilty by a jury of unlawful possession and control of marijuana 1 and sentenced to serve 2 to 10 years in prison. From a denial of his motion for a new trial, defendant appeals.

On the evening of April 18, 1969, an undercover detective of the narcotics unit of the state police went, in disguise, to defendant’s home. He had in his possession an arrest warrant for defendant’s son, Eay Doane, and a warrant to search defendant’s home.
