J.C. appeals the trial court’s October 24, 2003, denial of his motion to review and reconsider the trial court’s denial of his right to apply for youthful-offender status under § 15-19-1, Ala.Code 1975. On November 2, 2004, J.C. pleaded guilty to first-degree burglary, in violation of § 13A-7-5, Ala.Code 1975, and he was sentenced to 10 years in prison; that sentence was split and he was ordered to serve one year in the custody of the Department of Corrections, to attend boot camp, and to serve 3 years on supervised probation.
