It was an action ©f debt brought upon the guardian bond of Joseph Telford, executed to the state, on tjie tlth of February 1820, to recover the balance of the estate due to his w«rd Sophia Weaver, for whose use and that of her husband the action was prosecuted The defendant, (the appellant,) one of the sureties in the bond, pleaded two pleas. 1. General performance; and 2. That the guardian had accounted and paid, &c.
