On the 24th day of May, 1920, Sarah J. Barton, widow, entered into an agreement in writing with George Davis Heavitt, the appellant, for the sale to him for $17,000 of “all that farm or tract of land called or known ‘Partnership’ or ‘The Sarah J. Barton Farm,’ situate, lying and being in the sixth election district of Queen Anne’s C'ounty aforesaid, on the right of the public road leading from Centerville to Hillsboro, now in the tenancy of Edgar Blades, and containing 220 acres of land, more or less.” The agreement contained various provisions, which need not be stated, but among them was no…
