Complainant, as the administrator of Moses Dillon, deceased, filed his bill to foreclose a mortgage executed by 'defendants, Garhardus Langdon and Francina, his wife,' to said Moses Dillon, dated the 25th day of August, 1870, upon forty acres of land' in Hillsdale county, which. Dillon had conveyed to Garhardus Langdon ; the mortgage being given for one, thousand five hundred dollars of the purchase money, payable five years from the date of the mortgage, with interest thereon at ten per cent, per year, payable annually.
