Oxner, Justice.

Appellant was convicted of robbery while armed with a deadly weapon (Section 1140-1 of the 1942 Code), and sen tenced to imprisonment for a term of seven years. The fact that a robbery was committed seems to be conceded. Appellant’s major contention is that the evidence is insufficient to connect him with the crime.

The robbery occurred in the presence of eight or ten people at a bus station, in the City of Orangeburg, on Sunday morning, November 28, 1948. The bus station was opened that morning at 8:15. Within a few minutes two men drove up in a car and entered the waiting…
