delivered the opinion of the court.

On October 31, 1914, the grand jury of DeKalb county returned into the Circuit Court an indictment against Hiram Gilmore, containing eleven counts, wherein he was charged with various offenses against the liquor laws of this State. The indictment was certified to the County Court for process and trial. There was a change of venue from the county judge, and the county judge of another county tried the case. Gilmore pleaded guilty to the first three counts of the indictment and was fined thereunder and paid the fine in open court.…
