ROGERS, Justice.

The object of this suit is to obtain the annulment of the ruling of the Caddo Parish Democratic Executive Committee (Parish Executive Committee) sustaining the protest filed by Samuel P. Love against the candidacy of the plaintiff, James A. Denny, for nomination by the Democratic Party as one of the judges of the First Judicial District Court. Plaintiff also seeks to compel the committee to order his name placed on the ballot as a candidate for such nomination in the primary election to be held on September 8, 1942.
