The question presented by this appeal is the extent to which the village of Stickney is liable to the holder of , special assessment bonds dated February 16, 1927, which were issued by the village to anticipate the collection of special assessment No. 6. The aggregate par value of this issue is $415,000, of which the plaintiff is the owner of $49,500, and bears interest at the rate of 6% per annum.
