This appeal is another chapter in the long-fought battle to determine responsibility for injuries sustained over the years by individuals working with asbestos. In these particular cases, plaintiff companies seek indemnification from the United States Government for the companies’ liabilities to shipyard workers for injuries caused by exposure to asbestos.
