| t This is a civil service case. Jason Bankston, an employee of the New Orleans Fire Department (NOFD), seeks reversal of the decision of the Civil Service Commission denying his appeal of the discipline imposed by the appointing authority, the NOFD. Mr. Bankston contends that his actions were not prejudicial to the efficient operation of the NOFD and that the discipline imposed — a ninety (90) day suspension — was not commensurate with the offense — failing to report for a hurricane emergency activation.
