The plaintiffs below, as stockholders of the said Bay State Gas Company, on the 24th day of September, A. D. 1901, filed their petition in the Superior Court in and for New Castle County for a peremptory writ of mandamus, commanding the defendants below at all times during business hours to have open to the examination of said petitioners, at the principal office or place of business of said company in the State of Delaware, the original or duplicate stock ledger containing the names and addresses of the stockholders of said defendant company,…
