SARTAIN, Judge.

The accident giving rise to this litigation occurred on July 8, 1974. Liability of the defendants was admitted at the trial on the merits. The district judge awarded Mrs. Barbara Hull the sum of $27,000.00 for personal injuries and Mr. James W. Hull the sum of $4,904.91 for special damages.

Defendants, John C. Bigelow and his employer, North American Van Lines, have appealed and contend that plaintiffs have failed to establish a causal relation between the injuries complained of and the accident and that under these circumstances the above awards are grossly excessive and should…
