On March 18, 1936, the superintendent of banks took possession of the business and property of the Farmers State Bank of Amherst for the purpose of liquidation. Plaintiff commenced this action against the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, claiming that he is entitled to be reimbursed for bonds wrongfully converted by the bank. Four separate causes of action are set forth in the complaint. The circuit court found in favor of the defendant upon the claim set forth as a first cause of action, and defendant admitted liability upon the fourth cause of action. From the judgment for the…
