McMILLIAN, Circuit Judge.
Emery Air Freight Corporation appeals from a final judgment entered in the District Court 1 for the Eastern District of Missouri upon a jury verdict in an action for breach of contract and negligence brought by Hopper Furs, Inc. For reversal appellant argues that the district court erred in (1) denying its motion for a directed verdict at the close of all the evidence, (2) refusing to admit into evidence appellee’s prior and abandoned pleadings and (3) refusing to permit cross-examination concerning appellee’s insurance on the lost shipment.
