OPINION
EDELMAN, Justice.
Jerry Frank Birdwell appeals a misdemeanor conviction for failing to stop and give information on the grounds that the trial court erred in denying him his right of self-representation and that the evidence is legally and factually insufficient to support the conviction. We reverse and remand.
Appellant and the complainant were involved in an auto accident. They drove to a gas station where complainant called the police. Appellant requested that they exchange insurance information and, initially, the complainant told him she wanted to wait until the police arrived.…
