Schweizer Aircraft Corporation (“Schweizer”) brought this action in New York State Supreme Court against Local 1752, International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (“the" Union”), to stay arbitration proceedings initiated by the Union on behalf of Evangeline Thrall, a recent retiree who was disputing the calculation of her pension benefits.
