United States v. Eddie David Cox

Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit

Decided October 4, 1991No. 90-1386PublishedCited by 31 opinions

1Opinion of the Court

BRIGHT, Senior Circuit Judge.

Eddie David Cox appeals his convictions on twelve separate counts of drug trafficking and related offenses. He disputes: (1) the validity of a search of his vehicle; (2) the sufficiency of the evidence supporting his convictions; (3) the nondisclosure of a witness cooperation agreement; and (4) the district court’s imposition of a $22,000 fine at sentencing. We reverse Cox’s conviction for conspiracy to distribute cocaine and vacate the fine imposed thereon, but affirm his convictions and sentence in all other respects.
