Ajury found Jay Adam Gipson guilty of aggravated assault with an offensive weapon, aggravated assault with intent to murder, aggravated battery, and battery. The trial court thereafter denied his motion for new trial. On appeal, Gipson argues that there was insufficient evidence to convict him of aggravated assault with intent to murder and that the count of the indictment for that offense was fatally defective.
