Plaintiff was employed by the Borough of Lewisburg as a police officer on or about December 8, 1958. He remained in the employ of the borough until on or about December 31,1961, at which time he was dismissed from employment by action of the borough council on December 29, 1961, and later action taken by the borough council on January 8, 1962.
