On December 3, 1908, Daniel Logue, being the owner of a certain forty acres of land in Mahaska county, executed and delivered to his two sisters, Sarah Logue and Alice Logue, a deed, the material part of which reads as follows:

Know all men by these presents: That I, Daniel H. Logue (single), of the county of Mahaska and state of Iowa, in consideration of the sum of one dollar.in hand paid, do hereby sell and convey unto Sarah Logue the undivided one-third interest in the property hereinafter described.
