On June 20, 2006, the State charged the defendant, Eddie Harrison III, with attempted first degree murder of NOPD Officer Andres Gonzales, a violation of La. R.S. 14:(27)30. 1 The defendant pled not guilty at his arraignment on September 5, 2006. On March 8, 2007, the trial court denied the defendant’s Motion to Suppress the Identification. Following a hearing on March 3, 2006, the trial court also denied the defendant’s Motion to Quash the Bill of Information.
