This is an action to recover the sum of $783.92 which claimant asserts it is owed by respondent under the terms of a contract for electrical and gas utilities service.

The facts have been stipulated to by the parties. On December 22, 1967, the Department of Children and Family Services of the State of Illinois entered into two contracts with claimant for gas and electrical service at the Regional Office Building of the Department of Children and Family Services in Champaign, Illinois. Both contracts contained the following clause:
