*679The plaintiff is a Washington corporation, engaged in the grain and feed business there, while the defendant is a Virginia corporation doing business in Prince William county. On April 22, 1920, the defendant, through its general manager, J. J. Conner, gave to plaintiff’s traveling salesman, F. R. Pierce, an order for twenty-five tons of dairy food at $75.00 per ton to be shipped in June, and on the same day another order for a like amount at $76.50 per ton to be shipped in July, and on the same day another order for a like amount at $77.00 per ton…
