MEMORANDUM DECISION
RALPH R. MABEY, Bankruptcy Judge.
Plaintiff brought this action under § 17a(2) of the Bankruptcy Act, 11 U.S.C. § 35(a)(2), to have her debt declared nondis-chargeable on the basis of certain misrepresentations made to her by the bankrupt. At the conclusion of the trial, the issue of the applicable standard of proof under § 17a(2) was argued before the Court. Memoranda on this issue were filed shortly thereafter with the Court.
