Carley, Justice.
After a jury trial, appellant was found guilty of felony murder and sentenced to life. He was also found guilty of and sentenced for three counts of aggravated assault and four counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. After the trial court entered judgments of conviction and sentences on the jury’s guilty verdicts, appellant filed an extraordinary motion for new trial only on *76the general grounds. Appellant appeals from the denial of that motion.1
