This is an action brought by Clara L. Johnson, the widow of Clifford Johnson, who died December 12, 1911, in the city of Cincinnati, and at the time of his death and for sometime prior thereto was a member in good standing of the Policemen’s Benevolent Association of the city of Cincinnati and was also a member of the police force of the city of Cincinnati. The pleadings and the evidence in the case show that Clifford Johnson, while he was a member of the police force of the city of Cincinnati, made application for membership in the defendant association January 17, 1910, and was admitted to…
