The majority would have us believe that this court, rather than the legislative assembly, determines what conduct is subject to criminal sanctions, and that we are the repository in which society’s concepts of justice and decency are stored only to be broken out when "contemporary requirements of civility” 36 Or App at 524 call upon us to exercise our grace.
