Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Broomer, J.), rendered January 3, 1985, convicting him of robbery in the first degree (three counts), upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

The codefendant, the defendant’s 19-year-old wife, testified that the three complainants had initiated the confrontation with her and the defendant by trying to rob them of their portable radio. She further testified that one of these three complainants had pulled a gun and fired two shots as she and the defendant were attempting to flee…
