I respectfully dissent. In my opinion, Elliott-Canada’s sale of the boring mill to Elliott-Delaware with knowledge that it would be installed and operated in Michigan by plaintiffs subrogor constituted purposeful availment of the privilege of transacting business in the forum state, sufficient to create limited personal jurisdiction under MCL 600.715(2); MSA 27A.715(2).

It is well settled that a court may exercise personal jurisdiction over a nonresident defendant only if there exist "minimum contacts” between the defendant and the forum state. International Shoe Co v Washington, 326 US 310,…
