Appeal from trial term, New York county. Action by Dora Rubenstein against Barnet Rubenstein. From a judgment in favor of plaintiff, and from an order denying a motion for a new trial, defendant appeals.

The defendant is the father of the plaintiff’s husband. In January, 1896, according to the date of the summons, the plaintiff brought this action against the defendant and his wife to recover damages for alienating the affections of her husband and ■enticing him away from her.
