Appellant and appellee were defendants in a bill of interpleader filed by the Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York, hereinafter referred to as the complainant, to determine to whom should be paid the net proceeds of a life insurance policy issued by it on the life of Edward C. Ritsher, the deceased husband of the appellant, hereinafter referred to as the assured.
