On May 8, 2006, Defendants American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida, Inc. and American Bankers Life Assurance Company of Florida (collectively, “ABI”) moved to decertify the class action (hereinafter, the “Dunlap Class”) represented by Plaintiff James Dunlap (“Dunlap”).
