This is. a workmen’s compensation case. Lonzo Samuel is the injured employee, Burros Lumber Company the employer, and Federal Underwriters Exchange the compensation insurance carrier. Samuel was denied compensation by the Industrial Accident Board, and duly appealed to the District Court of Jefferson County, Texas. Trial was had in that court with the aid of a jury, but at the close of the testimony the trial court instructed the jury to return a verdict for Federal Underwriters Exchange.
