Appellants, The Miami Herald Publishing Company (publisher of The Miami Herald), The Times Publishing Company (publisher of The St. Petersburg Times), Gene Miller, a reporter for The Miami Herald, and Angel Castillo, a reporter for The St. Petersburg Times, seek review of district court rulings denying their requests to examine certain trial documents in a criminal proceeding. 1
