OPINION

HERNANDEZ, Judge.

The defendant appeals her involuntary commitment by the district court to the New Mexico State Hospital (State Hospital) for a period not to exceed 30 days. We affirm.

On February 20, 1979, defendant was involuntarily committed to the State Hospital upon a physician’s certificate for a 7-day evaluation period pursuant to the provisions of the Mental Health and Development Disabilities Code, Section 43-1-2 through 19 and 21 through 23, N.M.S.A. 1978.
