After two preliminary determinations from an audit in progress the State Revenue Commis*194sioner made an assessment for unpaid sales and use taxes against Savannah Inn and Country Club, Inc., notice of all of which was had by the appellants here, the treasurer and secretary of Savannah Inn and Country Club, Inc., and members of its board of directors; notice of the assessment and demand for payment thereof having been made on January 14, 1970. The assessment was in the amount of $24,788.33, including interest. No one had authority to direct or make payment of this assessment other…
