This lawsuit was filed after plaintiff Betty Henry discovered that defendant Retail Credit Company had provided for its client Burlington Northern Inc. a report on plaintiff’s personal background, employment and financial status. Plaintiff alleges that defendants’ conduct has violated provisions of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 1681-1681t (1974), as well as State and Federal constitutional rights of privacy, and she requests actual damages of $1,000,000 and punitive damages of $1,000,000.
