FINAL COPY S20A0718. MIDDLETON v. THE STATE. BOGGS, Justice. Appellant Christopher Lamont Middleton challenges his 2018 conviction for felony murder for the shooting death of Wesley Bryant. Appellant contends that the evidence was insufficient to support his conviction, that the count of the indictment charging him with felony murder based on armed robbery was void because it did not allege the essential elements of armed robbery, and that the trial court erred in refusing to charge the jury on self-defense.
